The incident took place at the Waves Laundromat in Miami, leaving Carla stranded without vital belongings. Despite reporting the incident to police at the Broadbeach station, she says no significant leads have been uncovered so far.

"I have all my papers and cards in that wallet. As a traveller, this has left me in a tough spot. I’ve reported it to the police in Broadbeach, but nothing has come up so far. If anyone recognises the couple or has any information, please let me know. Any help would be greatly appreciated."
The police at Broadbeach have been informed of the incident. CCTV footage from the laundromat is available and screenshots have been captured for the couple in question.
