Police are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying a group of individuals who may hold vital information related to an assault incident at Jacobs Well Boat Ramp on June 15.
Preliminary investigations indicate that around 2AM., two men were present at the Jacobs Well Boat Ramp on Esplanade, Jacobs Well, when a verbal altercation broke out between one of them and a nearby group. According to witnesses, a woman within the group appeared to instigate the confrontation.
The exchange quickly escalated into a physical fight, during which a 36-year-old man was allegedly assaulted by two males from the group. The man sustained injuries, though police have not disclosed further details regarding his condition. After the assault, the suspects and their associates left the area in a vehicle.
Police are now seeking any members of the public who may have witnessed the incident or captured CCTV or dashcam footage from the surrounding area at the time. Such evidence could be crucial in identifying and locating the suspects involved.
The incident has raised concerns among local residents, with authorities urging the community to remain vigilant and report any related information that could assist the investigation. Police are also encouraging anyone who recognises the individuals in the video to come forward, as they may have key information that could help resolve the case.
