Police Seek Assistance to Identify Suspect in Burleigh Heads Assault

A fight between two men in a Burleigh Heads hospitality venue has left the victim with facial injuries and in need of immediate surgery at the Gold Coast University Hospital.

Gold Coast Police have released CCTV footage of a man who may have information about an alleged grievous bodily harm incident that occurred in Burleigh Heads on October 20.

The incident took place around 1:40 a.m. during an altercation between a 25-year-old Currumbin Waters man and an unknown individual. The victim suffered facial injuries and was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital for surgery.

The suspect left the scene on foot before police arrived. Authorities are urging anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV footage or has information about the incident to contact them.
