Gold Coast Police seized a large cache of dangerous drugs and drug-making materials during a search warrant executed at a Beattie Road residence in Coomera on October 25.
The investigation began after community reports suggested the property was involved in drug sales. During the search, police uncovered a variety of substances, including cannabis, methylamphetamine, THC oil being actively cooked, and over one kilogram of MDMA tablets. They also found instructions for drug production within the residence.
A 32-year-old woman from Eagleby was taken into custody at the scene. She faces multiple charges, including possession of dangerous drugs, production of dangerous drugs, and possession of drug-manufacturing instructions. She is set to reappear at Southport Magistrates Court on November 7.
Chief Superintendent Craig Hanlon praised the operation, stating, “This operation demonstrates our ongoing focus on keeping harmful substances off the streets. Gold Coast Police will continue to act decisively against anyone involved in the manufacture or distribution of dangerous drugs.”
