Three juveniles have been charged following an alleged break and enter and car theft that took place yesterday morning, October 28, in Burleigh Heads.

Around 9AM, a Jaguar SVR SUV was reportedly stolen from a residence on Amazon Circuit, Helensvale. Police tracked the vehicle until it stopped on Tawarri Crescent in Burleigh Heads. When police confronted three male juveniles allegedly armed with knives as they exited the vehicle, the suspects fled on foot. All three were apprehended shortly after in a brief foot pursuit.

The suspects, a 16-year-old from Coomera and two 15-year-olds from Southport and Riverview, face multiple charges including unlawful vehicle use, fraud, and obstruction of police. They are expected to appear in Southport Childrens Court today, October 29.
